Creative Edge Dance Academy (CEDA) is a prestigious dance studio in Emerson, New Jersey. We pride ourselves on being a family operated mother-daughter business. Our objectives are to provide our students with a safe, fun, and educational look into the ever-growing dance world.

At Creative Edge Dance Academy, we are passionately committed to providing each student the opportunity to learn the art of dance in a positive, structured, and inspiring environment.
We offer individual attention, respect towards each student, and gentle guidance through the proper techniques of dance. We focus on the proper use of the body while developing artistry and self-expression within each dancer. We believe in an open forum for our team of teachers to communicate on the progress of our students and to discuss ideas for improvement in achieving our goals.

CEDA offers classes from ages 2 to adult and men and women alike! We want to share our love for this art form with you!
At Creative Edge we separate our classes by age and technical level. If you are looking for a fun way to release some energy and exercise, consider our recreational classes. Those looking for a more serious dance education should consider our Company classes.

CEDA Company
We are in our 12th Season as a competitive dance program. These dancers dance between 2.5 - 15 hours a week. Anyone looking for more performance opportunities and a competitive edge is welcomed to audition during the summer for our competitive programs. We specialize in a variety of different competitive options. Our dance company has won many prestigious choreography, entertainment, judge's specials, regional, national, and grand championship awards. Our routines have been nominated for Best Performance of the Year at the Industry Dance Awards and is the current reigning winner of the Best in Entertainment from SDA’s Circle of Excellence Award ceremony!
Schedule
We are currently accepting registration for our 2024-2025 season. Our Dance Schedule comes out August 1st to the public! Pre-Register now to get priority in all classes of your choosing. By pre-registering you get the schedule a week early and are guaranteed a spot in some of our most popular classes! We have a few new classes offered this year as well as our old favorites!
